As we leave the harbour in Svolvær, you pass by Fisherman’s Wife statue, a local landmarks welcoming fishermen and sailors. You will enter (in)famous Vestfjorden and the skilled crew will guide you to the most promising fishing areas based on the season. You’ll not only get the chance to catch fish, but also learn how to fillet it right on board—and yes, you can take your catch home.
Throughout the day the guide will share fascinating stories and historical anecdotes about the significance of fishing in Lofoten, a tradition that that stretches back to Viking times.

This historic boat, preserved under the protection of the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage, is certified for up to 38 passengers and with 10 fishing spots and maximum 20 people on board, you are ensured to have plenty of fishing time and space for a comfortable experience.
