We will pick you up from your hotel in Longyearbyen and drive towards the pier just outside town. Get comfortable in one of our two saloons with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views. From the moment we depart, you will be surrounded by magnificent views and tales of polar adventures which our guides will share. We will make our journey according to conditions, where we can admire a view of Svalbards glaciers.
If daily conditions allow we will make our way to Skansbukta in the outer part of Billefjorden to admire the impressive mountain Skansen. Here you can see remains of plaster mining. The back of the mountains hill slopes are full of history and cultural monuments connected to mining. We will also try to pass Svenskhuset, the oldest preserved building in Spitsbergen. During the tour we will also try to come close to the magnificent glaciers.
We then start our journey back to Longyearbyen. Between May and August, you’ll have daylight on your return as the Midnight sun is present. We will serve you a light meal that is included and you can order a drink in our onboard café. It’s the perfect time to sit back and enjoy the stunning landscape, mountains and wildlife around us. With luck, we'll be able to some wildlife such as seals, walruses, polar bears or even some dolphins or whales amongst the many species of birds. We will dock back in Longyearbyen and drive you back to your hotel.
