Brim Explorer, a pioneering company in sustainable fjord tours & experiences is thrilled to announce the launch of a new boat and opening of a new destination: Bodø.
With its newest vessel, Brim Explorer hopes to provide an attractive offer to both the tourists visiting Bodø as well as the conference & events market. Drawing from its experience from both Tromsø and Oslo.

Bre is designed to be a platform for experiences at sea with panoramic windows from the spacious, heated salon, and large deck areas where guests can move freely around the whole boat. The boat is universally designed with lift for wheelchairs. The large deck areas are very well suited various events, and we have good experience with to use our vessels as an arena for concerts, seminars, TV studio and for larger events in addition to being an experience platform for day trips with guests.
We are thrilled to know that Halvdan Sivertsen is the godfather if M/S Bre which he welcomes with open arms. It was an honour to have him perform three songs on our boat at the launch of the boat at destination Bodø.
On this tour we combine several highlights of the Bodø region in 1. We go from Bodø past Hovdsundet & Mjelle beach and then to explore Nordfjorden, a narrow fjord with high mountains. A true hidden gem in the north. We continue to Kjerringøy Handelsted, a 2019th century historic trading post with rich history. We spend about 1.5 hours at the open-air museum before we return to Bodø. Our passionate guides will share intriguing stories about the local wildlife, historical events, and cultural insights, enriching the journey with their knowledge and enthusiasm.
During the evening we will set sail along the rugged coastline and islands and skerries of Bodø and into the magical arctic light. In the midst of summer we’ll have the midnight sun, while at the start and finish this we’ll have great sunsets. Our guides will be on the lookout for wildlife and share their knowledge about the region.
